Santa Clause is comming to town!

Grandpa Wilkey took the kiddies to a Christmas party at his work where the kids got to see Santa. I love the innocence at these ages!

Destiny trying to explain that she has been good enough to get a DS... ummm

Dylan walked right up and hugged Santa. The smile on both their faces says it all.

Jennsen would not let go of grandpa. Gotta love a Santa with a sense of humor.

Lots of loves. Dylan, Shaun, and Jennsen after the party.
Torture!
Yes we tried Santa again.

I love this pic!

Snow Time!

The kids are out of school, and the snow was coming down!
They just couldn't wait to go outside.
All bundled up!

Destiny and her friend Isabelle getting ready to battle with Dylan and Terrin.

Hmmm... what do I do with this?

And then in the true Utah tradition after the snow stops and the temperature drops, we get fog.

The kids couldn't figure out how the tree's got all white from the fog.

Gingerbread Maddness!

Any excuse to have Jeff' brother and Fam over is a good one, so we decided to have a Christmas tree decorating party with all the kids. We made sugar cookie star's in different sizes, stacked them up, and let the kids go wild with the decorations.
Destiny and Dylan would hardly stop coating their tree's with candy long enough to show them off.
I had a picture with Nathan's tree done but Lexi's face in this one is too cute!
Then as I promised the kids last year, we made our gingerbread house completely from scratch. Now I know why I don't build houses. it's not as easy as it looks to get all the pieces to fit together.

Finished product! Not too bad. I decorated the front, Dylan did the sides,
and Destiny got the back. Jennsen helped by eating as much candy as she could before we were done.

Kids and School

We finally got the kids school pics. I can't believe how fast they grow! I'm glad I can take Jennsen in so they have matching pic's, the only problem is it makes her look so old. Hard to believe she isn't even 2 yet.
And more good news for the kids...
Both Destiny and Dylan entered reflections (an arts contest for school kids) with pictures they had taken during summer. The theme was "Beauty is" here's how they did!
Destiny's flower from our doughnut falls hike
(yes, she took this by herself with her own camera)

Dylan's dead tree stump from our Yellowstone vacation.
he wrote on the back "beauty is different for everyone, and I think nature is beautiful" lol
