We decided to head out of town for Easter but our trip was delayed by a phone call from a friend. His son was 4-wheeling at 1 in the morning and...oopsie is that a ledge? Needless to say, he needed some help towing it out. What this picture doesn't show is that the drop is about 15 feet down, and both passenger tires are well off the edge.
We finally got on our way, headed to St. George ( or so I thought ) Jeff decided that Vegas was only a skip and a jump from there and much more fun!
The kids have never seen anything like it. Lights, people, monorail, shows, and much more.
We took them to Tournament of the kings, our favorite family dinner show. They loved all the drama!
Then swimming!
We were so excited to get some warm weather. Bad part about swimming is trying to get the kids out.
We did some sight seeing, and as we walked around people were pointing and laughing. Took us a minute to figure out why...
Just too much fun!
And when we got home...Whatdaya know... The Easter bunny didn't forget us even though we weren't home.
All around a Great holiday. I think we might start a family tradition!

ReplyDeleteHmm, Easter in Vegas... that has potential. I wonder how much Destiny would charge for a day of babysitting in a hotel room while the mommies and daddies played downstairs??? I guess that does take away from the "Family" portion of tradition though huh?
ReplyDeletethat does look like a great easter! it looks like everyone had such a good time. i'd have had a hard time getting out of the pool and sun too at the end of the day.
